Michael Donnel, 2017

Last summer in 2017, I had the amazing opportunity to work with an incredible photographer named Michael Donnel. Many of Michael’s images capture essence and natural beauty, making this project very unique compared to other projects I have done.

This shoot was during the summer of 2017. When I first met Michael, he shared his story of how his hobby of photography was developing into a passion he wanted to dive deeper into. Michael is a very talented individual and also had other interests he pursued in addition to photography, so I already I could tell that he would be one of the most driven and focused people I would meet during my lifetime. So the reason why I am so excited to share this experience is because I have been following Michael’s journey throughout the last year and I cannot believe his growth. It is stunning to see how he is developing his style and vision while still staying true to his purpose of capturing essence and beauty. Please, please, please check out his work because he is someone to remember.

Caitie Santo

Hi, my name is Caitie Santo. I am a 22-year-old living in Chicago, Illinois. I was born in Fremont, California but later attended school at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. I graduated with a degree in marketing and I am currently working for a business management consulting firm in Chicago.
I was exposed to the arts at a young age, and my appreciation grew as I pursued a professional career in ballet several years ago. Although that career path ended during my first year in college, my experience is still deeply intertwined with how I describe myself, whether it is the music I listen to, the things I do, or the things I wear. I hope to continue developing my artistic expression through the various projects I work on including this blog, where I will share whatever comes to my mind.
